Great for an easy "no fuss" appetizer-just barbecue, slice them & serve with wooden picks.
Barbecue and serve them whole (or sliced lengthwise) on a steak roll & you have our Ranch version of the "hot dawg". We like to top them off with some spicy horseradish mayo sauce or some of us just eat them plain. Either way, you'll find it's a quick & easy way to entertain your friends.
Also great when removed from casings, crumbled and cooked for use in Pasta Sauces and Pizza Toppings.
Very lean, flavorful and juicy.
(None of that greasy after taste that may have you shying away from eating sausage.)
Have them in your freezer, a sealed package is easy to defrost in a bowl of tepid water-in less than 5 minutes.
They cook up in approx 15 minutes, sear them on your outdoor grill (or on a grill pan) then cook at a lower temperature til done, turning often to cook evenly.
Impress your guests in less than 30 minutes.
They are great to have in the freezer for spur of the moment get togethers, unexpected guests, power failures, camp-outs, or quick snacks for those bottomless pit hungry teenagers.
The frozen links are easy to pop apart to just take one out of the package. You can then place the open package inside a zipper freezer bag and return to the freezer.
They make great hostess or housewarming gifts too. Take them to your favorite beach house, cabin or time share. Every new home owner will love to receive them, too.
You can include a re-usable small ice chest & cool block as part of the gift. Or easier yet, wrap in brown paper with a home made ice block & double pack in zipper bags before wrapping in your gift bag.
Either way-just be sure to let the recipient know that your gift is perishable & should go in to the refrigerator or freezer.
